Tiny Tots Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and promoting a love for learning through engaging activities. Lead Teacher Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum.
Plan and execute engaging lesson plans.
Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior and effective classroom management strategies
Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and behavior.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to mandated reporting laws and health protocols
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning
Lead Teacher Requirements include:
1 year Experience working with children AND 1 year lead teacher experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or daycare setting.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire
Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork
Ability to work with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers
Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations
Prior experience with children with special needs.
Passion for fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young learners
