About the Role:
Christios Childcare & Academy 2 Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join their growing team in Romulus, MI! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners while working in a nurturing and supportive childcare environment.



Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for assigned classroom
• Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children
• Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress and milestones
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and classroom activities
• Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed classroom setting

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a lead teacher or childcare role required
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Valid Michigan childcare certifications or ability to obtain required credentials
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children
