Lead Teacher

About the Role: 
R.A. Vernon Christian Academy in Warrensville, OH is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young minds in a faith-based learning environment. Responsibilities: 

• Plan, develop, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Create a positive, structured, and Christ-centered classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities
• Collaborate with school administration and fellow educators to support school-wide goals
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic documentation
• Incorporate faith-based values and principles into daily instruction and classroom culture

Requirements:
 

• Degree in ECE
• Prior classroom teaching or lead teacher experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of child development and differentiated instruction strategies
• Genuine commitment to Christian values and faith-based education
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Valid teaching license or certification (or willingness to obtain) a plus
