A veterinary practice is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to oversee its clinical team while continuing to provide high-quality companion animal care. Provide clinical leadership while maintaining a high standard of veterinary care.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Mentor and support veterinarians and support staff through coaching, training, and professional development.
Promote a collaborative workplace culture focused on teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
Assist in developing and maintaining clinical protocols, workflows, and quality standards.
Collaborate with leadership to improve operational performance, client satisfaction, and hospital efficiency.
Monitor compliance with medical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records while supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
Previous clinical experience required.
Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
