Lease Operator

The Opportunity 

jade owls operating LLC is a rapidly growing, integrated oil and gas company built on integrity, grit, and cash flow. Since 2022, we've grown more than 70x and currently operate 14,000 BOE/d across Northeast Wyoming and Oklahoma. 

We're seeking an experienced Lease Operator to support daily field operations and production optimization. 

Responsibilities — What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor wells, tanks, pumps, and production equipment 
• Perform daily inspections to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations 
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues independently 
• Measure production volumes and recommend optimization improvements 
• Complete accurate daily production and equipment reports 
• Prepare oil tanks for sale and coordinate oil and water hauling 
• Ensure compliance with OCC, BIA, BLM, OSHA, and OK DEQ requirements 
• Participate in route reviews and collaborate with Foremen and Engineering 
• Maintain positive landowner and community relationships 
• Provide coverage for Foremen and assist with training entry-level Operators as needed 

Qualifications — What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required 
• Process Tech or Maintenance Tech degree preferred 
• Previous oil & gas field experience preferred 
• Knowledge of various well types and production equipment 
• Strong safety mindset; comfortable working independently 
• Reliable, driven, and team-oriented 
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR 
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check 

Work Environment 

• Outdoor field work in all weather conditions 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Exposure to hazardous equipment and H2S environments 
• Working independently more than 80% of the time
