At 1589 Residences, we are committed to creating an exceptional living experience for our residents. 1589 Residences is a new luxury community providing maintenance-free living in spacious single-family homes or townhomes in Huntsville, Alabama. The community offers easy access to major highways, shopping centers, and outdoor spaces, with custom interiors, chrome finishes, shaker-style cabinets, quartz countertops, and spacious floor plans. As a member of our team, you will play an important role in delivering outstanding service, building meaningful resident relationships, and helping create a welcoming community people are proud to call home.       As the Leasing Consultant, you are responsible for supervising the leasing process, communicating with prospective and current tenants, and managing the community's reputation.

      KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
      • Effectively manage the community's reputation via social media, direct communication, and marketing.
      • Be the primary communicator to prospects, residents, vendors, and your market.
      • Constantly learn and search for ways to improve traffic, leasing, and total income.
      • Think creatively and go way beyond the box by conceptualizing new ideas to improve the business.
      • Work with passion and take pride in what you do.
      • Be an effective listener who offers helpful solutions.
      • Possess great energy, enjoy challenges, and constantly set and reach new goals.
      • Execute successfully Elmington's non-negotiables for property performance.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
      • Professional verbal and written communication.
      • Administrative and organizational tasks.
      • Presenting a professional image.
      • Customer service focused.
      • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, internet websites for business marketing, and company-utilized software.
      • Preparing, locating, and compiling information and documents.
      • Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
      • Thrive in a team environment.
      • Willing to develop and learn.
      • Perform all other duties as assigned.

      SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
      • Minimum 2 years of leasing experience required.
      • Multi-Family experience preferred.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
      • Frequently sit, stand and walk.
      • Regularly required to talk or hear.
      • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
      • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
      • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
      • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
      • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
      • Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.

      TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
      • Travel up to 10% of the time.
