Leasing Consultant

Habitat America, a growing property management company, is seeking an experienced and professional Leasing Consultant to join our team at Broadview and Woodcliffe Apartments in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive, "can-do" attitude who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and helping residents feel at home.Position Overview: The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day leasing and administrative operations of the community. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong occupancy levels while delivering an outstanding experience to prospective and current residents.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Greet and assist prospective and current residents in a professional and friendly mannerConduct property tours and effectively present community features and benefitsRespond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in personProcess rental applications and lease agreements for market-rate unitsMaintain accurate leasing files and documentationManage office responsibilities including answering phones, filing, data entry, and general administrative supportCoordinate with property management staff to ensure resident satisfactionSupport marketing and outreach efforts to maintain strong occupancyDeliver excellent customer service consistent with Habitat America's standardsQualifications:Minimum 2+ years of property management experience in a leasing consultant or similar role (required)Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close leasesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional demeanor and energetic personalityStrong organizational and administrative skillsProficiency with standard office software and property management systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEOE
