Habitat America is a growing third party property management company largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations at a large, fast-paced apartment community of approximately 500 units, Broadview and Woodcliffe, in Baltimore, MD. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, managing the leasing team, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the overall success of the property through strong leasing performance and resident retention.The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, sales-driven, and experienced in multifamily property management.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all daily leasing operations for a 500-unit apartment communityLead, train, coach, and schedule leasing staffEnsure leasing goals, occupancy targets, and renewal objectives are metConduct tours and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing processMonitor traffic, leasing activity, market trends, and competitor pricingMaintain strong resident relations and assist with retention initiativesReview lease files and ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulationsCoordinate marketing efforts, outreach, resident events, and online reputation managementCollaborate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure apartment readiness and smooth move-insAssist with reporting, lease audits, renewals, and administrative tasks as neededMaintain a professional and welcoming leasing office environmentQualifications2+ years of multifamily leasing experience requiredPrevious leasing management or supervisory experience preferredStrong sales, customer service, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practicesExperience with property management software preferred (Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skillsWeekend availability requiredPreferred SkillsStrong closing and sales abilityTeam leadership and coaching experienceConflict resolution and problem-solving skillsOrganized and detail-orientedPositive attitude with a resident-focused mindsetBenefitsCompetitive salaryLeasing commissions and bonus opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with company matchHabitat America is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values a diverse workplace.
