The department offers an undergraduate degree in mathematics with concentrations in business, computation, life sciences, physical sciences, secondary education, and statistics; an undergraduate degree in actuarial science; an undergraduate certificate program in sports analytics; and a master's degree in mathematics with concentrations in college teaching and secondary teaching. The department currently has 250 undergraduate majors and 20+ graduate students. In fall 2026, the department moved into a newly renovated space with active learning classrooms, updated computer labs, and flexible spaces for working with students.

The lecturer will be expected to teach 30 credit hours per year, typically 12 credit hours in each of the fall and spring semesters and six credit hours in a summer session.
