The Communication, Media, Art & Design Department at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a part-time position as an Adjunct Lecturer (CMAD). The anticipated start date is August 01, 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibility is instruction in assigned discipline or related field.

Special Information/Instructions to Applicants: The lecturer will teach two studio courses: Art 214, Painting I (Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00 to 5:30) and ART 314, 414, and 415: Painting II, III, and IV (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 am to 12:00).

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.

Physical Requirements Working Conditions

Lecturer will teach in a typical classroom environment or an internet based

environment. Travel to a Regional Campus or off-site location may be required.
