Biology Lecturer

The Department of Biology within the School of Science at Indiana University Indianapolis (IU Indy) invites applications for a lecturer position to begin August 1, 2026. This is a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure eligible position. Information about the department can be found at https://science.indianapolis.iu.edu/biology/index.html

Responsibilities may include teaching Anatomy and Physiology as the primary focus, including online and/or in-person labs. A typical one-semester teaching load is 11-12 credit hours each semester. Summer teaching opportunities may be available for additional compensation. Successful candidates will have a record of quality teaching. The successful candidates will have the following preferred qualifications: A PhD or equivalent in Biology or relevant health related discipline is required. Candidates with experience teaching anatomy and physiology courses are required.
