- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or equivalent in Music Performance, Collaborative Piano, or similar; Master of Fine Arts degree or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent keyboard skills with a demonstrated ability to perform concert repertoire.
- Extensive performance experience.
- Ability to sight-read complex works and, if necessary, to transpose vocal repertoire.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the vocal repertoire from art songs and opera to musical theatre.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the standard instrumental repertoire.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake and apply style analysis.
- Ability to work with students displaying various degrees of musical potential and varying levels of artistic preparation.
- Experience teaching private piano lessons.
- Collaborate with music students, faculty, and guest artists as a pianist for concerts, lessons, and recitals.
- Perform with the orchestra, the choir, and music classes, as required.
