Compensation: $25-30/hr
Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain client, case, and legal matter information in case management systems and databases.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness before filing or processing.
- Organize, scan, upload, and maintain electronic and physical legal files.
- Assist with the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of legal correspondence and documents.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and legal notices.
- File legal documents with courts, agencies, and other entities as directed.
- Track deadlines, document requests, and case-related activities.
- Maintain records of client communications and case updates.
- Assist attorneys and legal staff with administrative projects and reporting.
- Answer phones, greet clients, and direct inquiries as needed.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements and firm policies.
- Perform other administrative and data entry duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Paralegal coursework preferred.
- 1+ years of administrative, legal support, data entry, or office experience preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with legal case management software preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, court filings, or legal documentation is a plus.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
