The Hunt Law Group is seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to support our growing tort defense and insurance coverage law firm. This position is full time, on-site at our downtown Chicago office.

This individual will support various legal and clerical administrative tasks for the firm including legal document management, court filings, case scheduling & attorney calendar management, and correspondence.
We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to support a growing tort defense and insurance coverage law firm. This position is full time and on-site in our downtown Chicago office.

This individual will support various legal and clerical administrative tasks for the firm. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and experienced in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Word. The firm is willing to train the right person for continued growth; prior experience as legal admin helpful, but not necessary.

Salary ranges from $50's to $90’s, based on skills and experience, in addition to competitive benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients and witnesses
  • Prepare case-specific documents, including memoranda and briefs (dictation, etc.)
  • Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review
  • Maintain and update documentation
  • Provide general administrative support

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
  • Certification or diploma as a Legal Assistant is preferred
  • Experience with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with document management experience
  • Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
