Job Description

SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Administrative Assistant, in Washington, DC.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience to be a part of the Administrative Services team, with the ability to commute to the DC office four times a week. The successful candidate will support attorneys across different levels (Partners/Counsel/Associates) and practice groups in managing their day to day tasks and providing them with administrative support.   • Manage and maintain lawyers’ busy schedules and calendars
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients in person and over the phone.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including calendaring, drafting correspondence, and filing.
  • Prepare engagement letters.
  • Proofread client documents and other legal documents, as requested.
  • Answer client questions related to the administrative side of the process.
  • Maintain good communication with clients, attorneys and staff.
  • Prepare client billing and input time entry.
  • Schedule travel and meeting arrangements.
  • Make, screen and route telephone calls, place conference calls and schedule appointments.
  • Create and maintain legal files and indices.
  • Set up and maintain files and records.
  • Assist attorneys with client outreach and business development needs when requested.
  • Assist with overflow work as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  • Three plus years of administrative experience in a Law Firm or Corporate setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with all levels of Firm personnel
  • High level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills
  • Must take initiative and be a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities within the Firm
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • High level of discretion while working with sensitive information and documents
