    Description

    Summary Responsible for providing administrative support to the Legal Department, including the Contracts Administration team and Alliant's in-house attorneys.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Facilitates completion of various agreements, including coordinating document review, signatures, and gathering required information and supporting documents.Processes contracts and equity-related requests; coordinates review, drafting, and completion of documents, and collects information from different corporate teams as needed.Updates and maintains the contracts database.Performs periodic audit of files and databases, and helps resolve deficiencies.Assists with equity administration, including document processing, distribution, and database management.Assists with the preparation of board packages.Obtains and renews domestic and foreign business licenses (country, state, county, city, etc.).Assists with electronic billing administration.Maintains master calendars for contracts, equity, and legal projects.Monitors general contracts and equity email boxes, and distributes incoming mail to appropriate team members.Provides project management and completion for contracts, equity, and legal teams.Assists with the preparation of correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets, including proofreading for formatting, punctuation, and grammar.Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.One (1) or more years of related administrative or general office experience.Experience and general knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred.Legal background and paralegal training are preferred.Skills Excellent reading comprehension, verbal, and written communication skills.Good leadership, problem‑solving, and time management skills.Excellent project management; ability to complete multi‑faceted projects from start to finish.Ability to take initiative and motivation to work independently.Exceptional ability to multitask on multiple high‑priority projects.Ability to maintain sensitive information with extreme care.Ability to interact well with senior executives and colleagues.Good planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.Desire to grow skills and advance career.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.Proficiency in the Adobe PDF program.Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint a plus, but not required.Experience working with a contract management system is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
