Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join a busy law firm in Downtown Minneapolis. This is a temporary to hire opportunity with a hybrid work model.

The Legal Assistant's responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating, scheduling, and calendaring depositions and hearings.
  • Performing investigative research and administrative tasks.
  • Electronic filing in state and federal courts.
  • Communicating with attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
  • Calendaring and docketing.
  • Assisting with organizing and maintaining electronic case files.
  • Data entry as needed.
  • Any additional duties and tasks as needed under the direction of paralegals and attorneys.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience as a legal assistant
  • Experiennce in Bankruptcy strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience working with document management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
