Legal Administrative Assistant - Real Estate

Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Legal Administrative Assistant – Real Estate to support our Real Estate, Construction & Development team. The position is full‑time and requires in‑person work at our Tampa, Florida office.Required experience: at least five years in real‑estate legal administration, with a strong background in commercial real estate, construction & development, pre‑ and post‑closing, land use, and litigation. A high school diploma or higher is required.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, proofread and format documents requested by attorneys and/or paralegals.Assist with legal research related to property records, zoning laws, land use regulations, and related matters.Apply procedural guidelines for various jurisdictions.Maintain and update client files, case documents, and transaction records.Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and scheduling meetings.Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.Handle confidential information with discretion.Required QualificationsAt least five years of experience as a real‑estate legal administrative assistant.High school diploma or higher.About the FirmWe're not just another law firm – we're something different.
