This is a TERM position NOT-TO-EXCEED 3 years (09/30/2029).This position is also being announced to applicants eligible to apply through Merit Staffing procedures under 26-LAM-12994339-MS.As needed, additional positions may be filled using this announcement.GS-7To be eligible at the GS-7 level, you must have:Specialized experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in the Federal service.Specialized experience is defined as: performing routine litigation support assignments such as assisting with organizing case information; preparing discovery productions, including scanning and coding documents and creating DVDs; assisting attorneys in preparing for court such as preparing exhibits; and preparing a variety of legal documents; assisting in the use of technology to organize digital evidence; and editing a variety of legal documents such as information request, pleadings, correspondence and memos.Education: One full year of graduate education in a closely related field (e.g., Criminal Justice, Law, Information Technology, or Computer Science) that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position.or a Bachelor's Degree or expect to complete the requirements for a Bachelor's degree within the next 9 months and possess at least one of the following criteria: class standing in the upper third of the graduating class; overall GPA of at least 3.0; GPA of at least 3.0 based on courses completed during the final two years of the curriculum; GPA of at least 3.5 based on the average of required courses completed in the major field; or election to membership in a national scholastic honor society.Combination of Education and Experience: combinations of successfully completed higher-level education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.GS-9To be eligible at the GS-9 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level in the Federal service.Specialized experience is defined as: assisting an attorney with trial preparation, including making recommendations on how to proceed with trial presentations; utilizing office automation tools to create physical and digital trial presentations; working with investigators, agents, and legal support staff; handling a wide variety of evidence and discovery; and providing technical assistance to litigation teams.Education: a Master's or equivalent graduate degree such as LL.B. or J.D. in a related field (e.g., Criminal Justice, Law, Information Technology, or Computer Science); or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.Combination of Education and Experience: combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
