Legal Assistant opportunity with a boutique Commercial Litigation Law Firm in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, FL
The
Legal Assistant is responsible for the duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:- Answering the main phone line.
- Preparing legal correspondence.
- Handling pleadings.
- Sending billing form notifications.
- Managing the calendar.
- E-filing legal documents.
Required qualifications for the position include:- Excellent computer skills, with the ability to work in a paperless environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:- 2–3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
Pay Rate Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
