What You’ll Do

• Manage cases from intake through trial and final resolution
  
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  
• Assist in trial preparation and attend court proceedings as needed
  
• Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony
  
• Conduct investigations and research to support case development
  
• Draft, proofread, and file legal documents accurately and efficiently
  
• Track deadlines, manage calendars, and ensure procedural compliance
  
• Support smooth case closures with complete documentation and organized follow-up
  
• Contribute to client satisfaction and retention through professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in Criminal Defense
  
• Strong understanding of criminal court procedures and legal protocols
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines
  
• Experience supporting cases through final closure
  
• Client-focused mindset with strong communication skills that contribute to client retention
  
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  
• Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office
  
• Legal Assistant certification or diploma preferred
