Legal Assistant – Manchester, New Hampshire | Full‑time | Direct hire | Pay: $25–$28/hr (depending on experience)Our client, a well‑established law firm in Southern New Hampshire, is seeking a Legal Assistant with 1–3 years of experience supporting Civil Litigation matters. This position offers the opportunity to join a busy, collaborative legal team and work closely with attorneys on a diverse caseload.Responsibilities Manage client files from intake through resolution, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely case progressionSupport new client onboarding by conducting conflict checks, preparing engagement documentation, and coordinating intake materialsDraft and prepare legal correspondence and case‑related documents for clients, courts, insurance carriers, and opposing counselMaintain organized electronic and physical case files, ensuring all records and filings are up to dateCoordinate attorney calendars, appointments, court dates, and critical litigation deadlinesOrganize discovery, medical records, exhibits, and case materials for hearings, mediations, and trial preparationPrepare, file, and serve legal documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filingsCommunicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, court personnel, and opposing counselQualifications 1–3 years of legal assistant experience, preferably supporting Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation mattersFamiliarity with insurance claims processes and communicating with claims adjustersAbility to prepare medical evidence, exhibits, and trial notebooksKnowledge of court procedures, discovery processes, and filing deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic file management systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
