A well-respected law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its team in Orlando, Florida.Essential FunctionsExperience working in a mid to large-size law firm environment and collaborating across departments (case opening, conflicts checks, billing, records, etc.)Draft and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documentsTrack firm, attorney, and client expenses and process reimbursements and paymentsSupport the client billing process, including:Editing pre-billsManaging billing calendars and deadlinesDelivering invoices (electronic and paper)Schedule client appointments and coordinate calendars with attorneysAssist with planning and coordination of attorney business development eventsManage electronic and paper case filesHandle incoming/outgoing mail and communicationsAnswer, screen, and direct phone calls and emailsConsistently deliver high-quality client serviceEducation and Experience3–5 years of law firm experience requiredExperience supporting multiple attorneysPhysical DemandsAbility to perform essential job functions with or without accommodationRegular computer use (typing/keyboard)Ability to communicate effectively (talking/hearing)Vision requirements include close and distance focusThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not all-inclusive.#J-18808-Ljbffr
