Job Title: Legal Assistant – Litigation
Location: West Chester, PA

Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide overflow administrative and litigation support to all attorneys within the litigation department
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
- Manage and organize case files, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Calendar and track deadlines, court dates, hearings, and filing requirements
- Coordinate e-filing in Pennsylvania courts and assist with court submissions
- Handle attorney scheduling, communications, and correspondence
- Process and track legal billing using TABS; manage documents through iManage
- Assist with document review, copying, scanning, and distribution
- Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner
- Support attorneys with trial preparation and related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm setting — required
- Litigation experience strongly preferred
- Strong familiarity with legal document preparation, court procedures, and e-filing
- Proficiency with TABS and/or iManage a plus — not required
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, team-oriented demeanor with a proactive attitude
- High school diploma required; additional legal education a plus
