Level 3 RN – OR (Circulator) (Contract)

Location: NY 14456
Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/week
Schedule: 4 x 9-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM / 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM / 4:30 PM; 1 on-call weekday + 3 on-call weekends per 4–6 week rotation
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Additional: Float to units at SSMH/GGH

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Circulate in OR for multiple service lines (Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, GI, Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry)

• Assess patients, implement care plans, and coordinate with healthcare team

• Provide patient/family education and ensure post-discharge care understanding

• Promote patient safety, comfort, and emotional support

• Administer medications and interventions; follow infection prevention protocols

• Delegate tasks and support OR team; participate in quality improvement

Requirements

• NYS RN license – Required

• OR circulator experience – Required

• 2 years OR experience – Required

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS (AHA/RQI) – Required

• Familiarity with multiple OR service lines and equipment

• Call experience preferred

• Float to other units as needed
