Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Part Time Hours per Shift: 12 hours (2 shifts per week) + On-call shifts as needed Experience: Two years acute hospital experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least one year of experience in an Emergency Department License: Current State Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (must be AHA or RQI) Must-Have: Two years of experience serving as a Registered Nurse, with at least one year in an Emergency Department Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical skills, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families. The Emergency Department RN demonstrates skill in the use of various invasive and non-invasive procedures, treatments, and interventions appropriate for managing life-threatening and routine emergency situations.
