What You ll Be Doing

As a Structured Cabling Technician, you ll be expected to bring more than just a tool bag, you ll bring the experience to handle assigned tasks with confidence while continuing to develop your technical skills.

Your day may include:

• Installing, routing, dressing, and supporting voice and data cabling

• Working with structured cabling and fiber-optic systems in commercial environments

• Performing cable terminations and labeling

• Installing J-hooks, cable supports, and pathway components

• Assisting with testing and troubleshooting cabling systems

• Reading and following prints, floor plans, and project instructions

• Maintaining clean, organized, professional-quality installations

• Working independently on assigned tasks and contributing to the overall project team

• Learning from experienced technicians and preparing for greater responsibility in the field

What We re Looking For

At Level II, you ve already got some experience behind you. Now we re looking for someone ready to do something with it.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience

• Hands-on experience pulling, routing, dressing, and terminating structured cabling

• Familiarity with fiber-optic cabling and installation practices

• Experience with common low-voltage tools and equipment

• Ability to follow prints and installation instructions

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Dependable attendance and professional communication

• A desire to continue developing technical and leadership skills
