Liability Litigation Attorney (365/o)

Long standing community association litigation firm based in South Florida is expanding and looking to add a Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to their team, experience in condominium and homeowners association law is a plus. The firm is a progressive and constantly growing enterprise which utilizes the technological advancements available to the legal profession and is dedicated to providing the best possible representation for its Association clients.

 

If you are a strong litigator with experience in general liability law and have experience in condominium and homeowners association law or would like to gain experience in this area of practice this could be the opportunity for you.  Billable hours are from 140-160. This position is full-time, onsite at either the firms’ Miami Lakes or Miramar, FL office.

 

The Attorney is responsible for:

• Drafting Pleadings and Motions.
• Propound and respond to discovery
• Prepare for and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment
• Attend meditations and settlement conferences
• Attend and take depositions
• Assist at jury and bench trials
• Legal Research
• Work closely with clients and their agents
• Work closely with managing partner

 

Qualifications:

• Must be admitted in good standing to the Florida Bar
• Must Have 3+ years of litigation experience, experience in condominium and homeowners association law is a plus
• Must Have Strong Problem-solving skills
• Must Have Strong Analytical skills
• Must Have Strong attention to details
• Must Have Strong legal writing and research skills
