Gameday is excited to welcome a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to our growing team.
Clinical Tasks:
- Performing blood draws on patients daily.
- Taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Obtaining medical histories and performing patient interviews
- Preparing patients for follow up examinations
- Assisting with procedures (e.g., injections)
- Administering medications as directed by a physician
- Performing laboratory tests (e.g., blood draws, urine tests)
- Sterilizing medical equipment
Administrative Tasks:
- Scheduling appointments
- Maintaining medical records
- Ordering medical supplies
- Answering phone calls and greeting patients
- Performing clerical tasks (e.g., copying, faxing, emailing)
Other Duties:
- Providing patient education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Coordinating care with other healthcare providers
- Maintaining confidentiality of patient information
- Adhering to medical practice policies and procedures
- Participating in continuing education to stay up-to-date on medical advancements
