Job Description
| Bilingual English & Chinese seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist to provide acupuncture treatments and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services to patients experiencing pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and other health concerns. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese. Key Responsibilities " Conduct patient consultations and assessments to understand medical histories, symptoms, and treatment goals. " Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patients needs and clinical assessments. " Perform acupuncture treatments in accordance with professional standards and applicable New York State regulations. " Apply appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques to support pain management, rehabilitation, and overall wellness. " Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate. " Educate patients about treatment procedures, expected outcomes, aftercare, and wellness practices. " Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and progress documentation. " Follow proper infection-control procedures and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment. " Communicate effectively with patients in English and Chinese to explain treatments and address concerns. " Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate to support coordinated patient care. Qualifications " Diploma or degree in Acupuncture or a recognized equivalent qualification. " Active New York State Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) license required. " Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese; Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency should align with the clinic s patient population. " Previous clinical experience in acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine preferred. " Knowledge of acupuncture techniques, patient assessment, and pain management approaches. " Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills. " Commitment to patient safety, professional ethics, and compassionate care. |
