Children’s Advocate Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. We work with children and families with behavioral, emotional, social, and mental health needs, and we are looking for a clinician who can build meaningful relationships while maintaining strong professional and clinical standards.
This is a full-time position of approximately
30–40 hours per week.
Compensation
42–48 per hour, based on experience, clinical background, and qualifications.
Responsibilities
The LCSW will be responsible for duties such as:
- Providing individual and family therapy within the clinician’s scope of practice
- Completing assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation
- Monitoring treatment progress and modifying interventions when appropriate
- Working collaboratively with parents, caregivers, schools, referral sources, and other treatment providers when authorized and appropriate
- Helping families understand treatment goals and actively participate in services
- Supporting children and families experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges
- Participating in treatment-team meetings and care coordination
- Maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
- Following agency policies and applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois LCSW license in good standing
- Master’s degree in social work from an appropriately accredited program
- Clinical experience providing behavioral or mental health services
- Strong assessment, treatment-planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, caregivers, and other professionals
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Dependable attendance and professional communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Experience with family therapy, behavioral health, trauma-informed services, or community mental health
- Experience coordinating services with schools, caregivers, or outside providers
- Experience working with families with complex behavioral or psychosocial needs
