What We’re Seeking
- Licensing: Valid Texas Electrical License (Residential Wireman or Journeyman’s License).
- Experience: 3–5 years of residential electrical experience, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and service (light commercial experience is a plus!).
- Quality Craftsmanship: Clean, top-tier work executed strictly to NEC code on every single job.
- Professional Presence: A tidy, well-groomed appearance with a clean, neat uniform (tucked in!).
- Mindset: A positive, proactive attitude; able to work autonomously while following our best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Operations: Work independently out of your provided service van to install, maintain, and repair residential wiring, control systems, and lighting.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices; inspect transformers and circuit breakers for faults.
- Customer Connection: Provide excellent, clear communication with homeowners, offering options and solutions so they can choose what’s best for their home.
- Van Management: Keep your assigned service van clean, organized, and properly stocked; conduct quarterly material inventories.
- Process & Execution: Consistently follow Mr. Electric’s proven system to deliver exceptional results and elevate your own performance.
