The Marine Low Voltage Electrician (Under 1000 volts AC) performs operation, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of existing low voltage power, lighting, galley, laundry, ventilation, elevator, crane, deck machinery, fire & safety, automation and control equipment and systems aboard ship and performs installation of new low voltage equipment and systems aboard ship as directed. Provide electrical maintenance troubleshooting and repair in the outlined systems below: POWER – Safely operate, maintain, trouble shoot and repair switchboards, distribution panels, electrical wiring, circuit breakers, motors, motor controls, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, soft starters, contactors, relays.
