Meadows Funeral Home Inc. is seeking a compassionate and professional Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our dedicated team in Monroe, GA. Responsibilities:

• Perform embalming, restorative art, and preparation of the deceased in accordance with state regulations
• Meet with bereaved families to plan and arrange funeral services tailored to their needs and wishes
• Coordinate all aspects of funeral and graveside services, including logistics and vendor communication
• Prepare and file required legal documents, including death certificates and burial permits
• Transport deceased individuals with care and professionalism
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and compliance of the preparation room and facilities
• Provide compassionate grief support and aftercare resources to families

Requirements:

• Valid Georgia Funeral Director and Embalmer license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
• Associate's degree or higher in Mortuary Science from an accredited program
• Prior experience in funeral service, embalming, and family arrangement conferences preferred
• Strong knowledge of Georgia funeral service laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
