Description
Skilled Trades Partners is currently recruiting for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and respected mechanical contractor serving commercial clients throughout Connecticut. Our client is seeking a licensed S-2 Journeyperson HVAC Technician to join their growing service team.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity focused primarily on commercial HVAC service work throughout Central Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and repair experience with commercial HVAC systems and enjoy working independently in the field.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls
Troubleshoot rooftop units, boilers, hydronic systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment
Service heating, cooling, and process piping systems
Complete service documentation and communicate findings with customers
Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while working independently in the field
Qualifications
Active Connecticut S-2 License required
Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems
Knowledge of hydronic heating systems, boilers, steam systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Valid Connecticut Driver's License with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
Schedule
Monday – Friday
Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Paid travel time
