Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative

We are a high-performing Allstate agency that has served our community for 21 years. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our in-office team.
This position focuses on helping existing customers with policy questions, coverage changes, billing concerns, claims guidance, renewals, and other service needs. The right candidate communicates clearly, follows through consistently, and understands that accuracy matters when customers are trusting us to protect what matters most to them.
You will be supported by an experienced team, established procedures, and ongoing training. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and can resolve customer needs professionally without constant supervision.
This is a full-time, in-office position.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers by phone, email, text, and in person
- Process policy changes accurately and promptly
- Answer questions regarding coverage, billing, payments, renewals, and policy documents
- Help customers navigate the claims process and connect them with the appropriate resources
- Review policies for accuracy and identify potential coverage gaps
- Support customer retention by addressing concerns and providing solutions
- Identify appropriate cross-selling opportunities based on customer needs
- Document all customer interactions and policy activity thoroughly
- Follow up on outstanding service requests to ensure completion
- Maintain compliance with agency procedures and insurance regulations
- Collaborate with the sales and service teams while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license required
- Previous insurance customer service experience required
- Prior Allstate agency experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, patient, and confident when handling customer concerns
- Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and managing competing priorities
- Dependable, accountable, coachable, and able to work independently
- Must be available to work in the office during standard business hours
