Licensed Massage Therapist Full Time

Solterra Wellness Club is hiring an Ohio-licensed massage therapist for a full-time W-2 role at The Galaxy at Polaris in Columbus. Solterra is a premium, integrated wellness club—not a high-volume massage chain. Each massage is treated as a personalized wellness ritual, with appropriate treatment and transition time so therapists can focus on the guest rather than rushing through back-to-back appointments.

COMPENSATION
- Earn 40% of eligible collected massage-service revenue you personally perform, plus 100% of guest gratuities.
- Solterra’s planned menu and appointment blocks produce an estimated $44–$51 per booked service hour before tips. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed hourly rate or an earnings cap.
- For your first 60 calendar days, beginning with your first scheduled guest-service shift, service pay is the higher of $25 per approved scheduled service hour or earned service commission for the applicable pay period. The guarantee includes unbooked time during an approved shift; the two calculations are not stacked.
- Approved training, meetings, administrative responsibilities, and assigned pre-opening or other non-service work are paid separately at $25 per hour.
- After the introductory period, the regular 40% service-commission structure continues, with approved non-service work paid at $25 per hour.
- Booking volume and gratuities are not guaranteed.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL CREATE
Provide thoughtful consultations and customized massage instead of charging guests for generic pressure upgrades. Deliver attentive, resort-style hospitality while maintaining appropriate draping, professional boundaries, accurate SOAP documentation, sanitation standards, and a guest-ready treatment room. Collaborate with Solterra’s broader wellness and esthetic team to help guests build connected movement, recovery, and renewal routines.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Ohio Massage Therapy license in good standing
- CPR/AED certification, or the ability to obtain it before your employment start date
- Strong massage fundamentals and knowledge of anatomy, contraindications, professional boundaries, and safe draping
- Reliable availability and a genuine interest in delivering a five-star guest experience
- Ability to perform essential massage and treatment-room duties, with or without reasonable accommodation

Luxury-spa experience and additional modalities are welcome but are not required. Experienced therapists and newer licensed therapists who are committed to excellent service are encouraged to apply.

SCHEDULE AND START
This is a full-time W-2 opportunity. We will agree on a consistent schedule, paid training, and start date individually. Evening and weekend availability is especially helpful. Regular guest services begin with the club’s service launch, subject to site readiness, occupancy approval, and required inspections.
