Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and nursing support within the scope of licensure under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed healthcare provider. This role is responsible for administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting daily patient care activities in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• Active CPR/BLS certification
• Knowledge of practical nursing procedures, pharmacology, patient care practices, and medical terminology
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations, patient confidentiality standards, and healthcare compliance requirements
• Experience administering medications and monitoring patient responses
• Ability to accurately document patient information and maintain detailed medical records
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and provide compassionate patient care
• Proficiency in the use of medical equipment and healthcare documentation systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, behavioral health, long-term care, or healthcare facility setting preferred
• Experience working with interdisciplinary healthcare teams preferred
