Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support quality improvement, compliance, and patient care standards within our healthcare organization. The Quality Assurance LPN will assist in monitoring clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Schedule:
The team is flexible on the schedule.
Options: 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm or 8am-5pm.
- 8hrs Monday- Friday- Varied weekends may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and regulations
Monitor quality indicators and assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Support quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives across clinical teams
Assist with regulatory compliance, including preparation for audits and surveys
Collaborate with nursing staff, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to promote best practices
Provide education and feedback to staff related to documentation, quality standards, and compliance
Report findings and recommendations to management in a clear and timely manner
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies
Qualifications:
Active LPN license in good standing
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience (quality assurance or audit experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and quality measures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
