Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Grand Junction, CO
Duration: 8 Weeks
Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
Shift: Variable Nights – 12-Hour Shifts

Compensation:

  • Traveler Pay: $44–$47/hr based on experience
  • Local Pay: $37–$40/hr based on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician to support patient treatment, assist with clinical procedures, and ensure efficient daily operations within the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians or Registered Nurses
  • Take and document vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations
  • Assist physicians during examinations and minor medical procedures
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed
  • Perform basic clinical duties including wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and medical procedures
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
  • Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado or Compact State LPN License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty required
  • Current AHA BLS Certification
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
