Our client located in Thomaston, GA is looking to add a dependable, hard-working, compassionate LPN to their permanent staff. If you love helping others and want to help your community, this is a great opportunity.

Location: Thomaston, GA

Start Date: In as little as 2 weeks!

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / Full-Time

Pay: Varies based on experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Current State Specific LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification (can be obtained during orientation)
  • Minimum of one year paid LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) work experience within the past year of direct patient care in a similar setting
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills

Job Description: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:

  • Administer injections, draw labs, complete head to toe assessments including adult, child adolescent and substance abuse individuals.
  • Log in/out sample and patient assistance medications.
  • Log/dispose of expired medications, complete prior authorizations for medications.
  • Re-order prescribed injections, when needed. Assist MD/APRN as needed, including taking and entering verbal orders in the electronic health record.
  • Educate individuals on medications including adverse reactions, side effects and its benefits.
