Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive clinical environment. In this role, you will work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to promote comfort, safety, and positive health outcomes. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with care plans, clinical protocols, and state regulations.
- Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as permitted by licensure and organizational policies.
- Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and routine clinical procedures.
- Support patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity, privacy, and comfort.
- Document care accurately and timely in patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members to coordinate care and address concerns.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
- Assist with discharge planning, patient education, and continuity of care as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in good standing.
- Experience providing patient care in a clinical, long-term care, acute care, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic nursing principles, patient safety, and infection prevention.
- Ability to observe, assess, and report patient status accurately.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
