LPN – Long Term Care | Local & Travel Contracts | Cedar Rapids, IA

Whether you live in the Cedar Rapids area or are looking for your next travel assignment, we have a contract for you. Join a long-term care facility caring for residents alongside a supportive nursing team, with a 40-hour weekly guarantee.

Pay:

• Local candidates: $45.00/hr W-2, about $1,800/week
• Travel candidates: up to $1,900/week, paid as a W-2 hourly rate plus a tax-free weekly stipend based on GSA rates. Must have a permanent residence 50+ miles from Cedar Rapids to qualify for the stipend.

Available schedules:

• Day shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (5x8)
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (5x8)
• Every other weekend

What you’ll do:

• Provide nursing care according to each resident’s medical and nursing care plan, under RN supervision
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and response to treatment
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Supervise and support CNAs on the unit
• Document care accurately and on time

What you need:

• Active Iowa LPN license (or multistate compact license)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and facility health screenings

Nice to have:

• 1+ year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience
• Experience working with older adults
