Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient clinic setting in Syracuse, New York. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated healthcare professional with strong clinical, organizational, and patient care skills who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs
Document patient information, progress, and care updates accurately
Assist physicians and clinical staff during exams and procedures
Prepare and organize trays for injections and minor procedures
Administer injections and medications as directed
Assist with clinical procedures including pap smears and related patient care activities
Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and insurance verifications
Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
Support scheduling, chart preparation, filing, and other front-office duties as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas
Observe and report patient responses to treatments and interventions
Collaborate with healthcare staff to support efficient patient care coordination
Requirements
Active LPN/LVN License required
Previous outpatient clinic or acute care experience preferred
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems strongly preferred
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative healthcare team
