"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Las Cruces, NM. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and medical procedures
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
Ensure adherence to infection control standards, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations
Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition
Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or Compact License (Required)
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (Required)
Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
