Description:
• The role involves providing direct nursing care, administering medications, and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Located in Rye, NY, this full-time position requires evening shifts, focusing on resident care and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records is essential.
Requirements:
• Provide direct nursing care based on individual resident needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Communicate pertinent resident care information effectively.
• Maintain accurate and accessible records and reports.
• Ensure resident privacy, dignity, and individuality.
• Utilize and update electronic medical records.
• Follow infection control practices and safety precautions.
Qualifications:
• Current NYS Licensure to practice as an LPN.
• CPR Certification required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to make independent decisions.
• Proficient in basic nursing care techniques.
• Computer literacy for patient care systems.
• Effective communication skills concerning resident conditions.
