Licensed Practical Nurse, Urgent Care, Temporary Increase

Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Emergency Services Department in Hibbing, MN.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing support to patients within Urgent Care. We are a Level IV trauma center and an Acute Stroke Ready hospital.

Schedule: This position is a temporary increase to full time for an existing FTE within the department. 90 days - starting June thru August.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you are responsible for: 

• Capturing the data involved in total systems assessment, including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data, as well as ongoing data collection.
• Assisting the provider in coordinating a plan of care based on prioritized patient needs in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.
• Assisting in provision of age specific direct patient care in collaboration with all disciplines according to standards of care.

Required Qualifications

• Tier 1 Criteria: 1 year of LPN experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred. Tier 2 Criteria: Current MN LPN License. 1 year experience as Nursing Assistant.
• Current Minnesota LPN Licensure. Attends BLS class within six months of employment and maintains certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year Urgent Care/Emergency Room/Clinic experience.

$26.09- $30.66 Hourly

Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Emergency Services Department in Hibbing, MN.

Schedule: This position will be working XX-XX hours per two weeks, 12-hour day/evening shifts and every third weekend.
