About the Role:
Candis Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our growing team in Roanoke, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals navigating mental health challenges while working within a supportive and mission-driven organization.



Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct clinical services including individual, group, and family therapy
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and community resources
• Ensure services align with Virginia DBHDS regulations and best practices in behavioral health
• Participate in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed

Requirements:

• Active Virginia license as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent QMHP-eligible credential
• Meet Virginia's QMHP qualifications as defined by DBHDS standards
• Experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate, client-centered approach with a commitment to ethical practice
