Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the technical direction of a Credentialed School Nurse or of a site administrator, the Licensed Vocational Nurse performs a variety of specialized healthcare protocols and procedures; routine health maintenance activities as prescribed by authorized healthcare providers; meets medical and physical needs of all students including those with exceptional needs in accordance with state law and District policy. Serve as a technical liaison between families, multidisciplinary school teams, and District health services to facilitate the continuity of care and ensure alignment on health-related student outcomes. Assist with medical screenings of students and data collection.
