The Artandi lab studies cancer genetics and stem cell biology using cutting edge techniques in molecular biology, genomics, proteomics and mouse models to gain new insights and cures for human disease.
The Artandi Lab is a part of the Stanford Cancer Institute (SCI), which is one of an elite number of National Cancer Institute- Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the country, and is a prominent, dynamic, growing and complex Institute within the Stanford University School of Medicine. The SCI actively works to build synergies and collaborations among faculty with cancer- relevant expertise from four Schools and over 30 departments across Stanford University.
We are seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to perform experiments and activities involved in laboratory research related to cancer biology, genetics, stem cell biology and biochemistry. Projects include study of pancreas cancer, liver cancer, RNA biology, telomerase function and cancer genomics. The projects at the Stanford Cancer Institute will be performed in the laboratory of Dr. Steven Artandi and will address fundamental and translational research in cancer science. The candidate will perform sophisticated genetic, genomic and biochemical studies.

The expected pay range for this position in the Stanford Work Location is $32.58 to $38.48 per hour.
